For two days, an intimate group of women will gather on the outskirts of cape town in Amani House. to explore different ways we can re-wild & attune to our power as women.
Melissa Maya & Annette Müller will share radical & profoundly simple tools for re-membering the shared call back home to our bodies. Through seeds of shared knowledge, embodiment & ritual we gather to evoke our wildness further forward.

3 nights of shared accommodation in a retreat center in the wild and most lush nature of Friskabäck, Sweden.
Daily trips into the wild ~ swimming in the waterfalls, enjoying the sauna, dancing and howling around the fire.

We believe that this body of work deserves a sacred, nourishing ground. Wild & Rooted will be taking place in South-East Sweden; Fiskabäck Österlen.
This land has housed many ceremonies held specifically by female shamans, and due to the presence of the neighbouring waterfalls; there is a strong presence of the divine feminine. We will do most of our sessions in the daytime in a huge, hand-forged wooden dome structure nestled in the forest. In the evenings, we can enjoy the wood-fired sauna & indoor temple. Full body nourishment is what we are here for.

We believe nourishment is the foundation for feeling at home in our bodies. Cultivating a loving relationship with our food, where it comes from, and how it is digested.
Our meal times will be ceremonial with ancestral and wild inspiration. Living foods bringing life to all of our cells.
Think slow cooking, slow eating, nourishing & adaptogenic for all of our nervous systems. This is what it means to be both wild AND rooted as a woman; finding freedom & safety simultaneously in our being.

Melissa Maya
WOMB-CENTRED LEADERSHIP & EMBODIMENT
Melissa Maya is the founder of WILDLY DEVOTIONAL; an embodied inquiry as to how we can lead from the womb & heart.
Melissa Maya is in service to supporting women to emerge into their authentic, embodied & unbridled expression of feminine leadership.
Fundamentally, a bodyworker & a dancer, turned tantric devotee & Poet, she uses movement & words to carry a sound-current & transmission to support women in uncovering their own inner creatrix. The work is as practical as it is mystical; rooted in grounded technologies with & through the body.
Melissa Maya will be guiding the structure of the retreat; to ground-in & integrate the high-octave experiences right back into the faculties of the body. Her offerings will be rooted in embodiment, asana, breathwork & expression.
She will be holding the morning meditations & co-weaving the Rituals with Annette along the way. Expect plenty of voice-work, womb-work & bodywork.

RADICAL WOMEN’S FREEDOM AND EMPOWERMENT
Annette is a women's embodiment and empowerment guide & a maverick creatrix. Her invitation is for women to reclaim their wholeness by getting to know their shadows.
Her signature methodology of the 4 Reclaimed Archetypes supports women in finding freedom through transmuting their shame. As a trauma-informed practitioner with a wealth of experience and certification, she is able to be with all of you and all that you bring.
Annette was initiated in the Wise Woman Tradition, an ancient way of herbalism, and is the founder of Wild Nettle, a movement to return wild weeds to the world.
She is currently enrolled at the International Academy Hagia to become a professor of matriarchal studies as her mission is to live in a world that returns the mother to the centre.
Her offerings are simple and radical.
She will activate and ignite the wild and wise women within you.

Yes, everyone is welcome to join this retreat, no previous embodiment experience or experience in any other field is needed. However, as we are going to be a small group of 16 women maximum, we will check in with you when you sign up to make sure it is aligned for both you & us.

The nearest airport is Malmo Airport in Sweden - however, we’re actually really close to Copenhagen via public transport {around 1.5hours in train or car} so we recommend travelling from Copenhagen. We will arrange a carpool system from Copenhagen & Malmo or you can simply travel here on the train from Malmo easily.

Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
To confirm your place on our retreat, a deposit of a minimum of 50% must be made upon booking. If you cancel anytime before 20 days prior to the retreat start date you will lose your initial deposit payment but you will not have to pay the remaining amount for the retreat or, under special circumstances such as a travel ban or illness and if we find someone to take your place, you can have the deposit as retreat credit and reschedule your retreat for another date. However, a 50 euros administration fee will apply. If you cancel within 20 days prior to the retreat start date, you will have to pay the full amount.

Included in the price of your ticket is shared accommodation in your own bed. There are a small selection of options to pay more & have your own private sleeping space - please email to inquire further.
Otherwise, you are welcome to camp in your own tent/van if you prefer complete privacy throughout.
However, the shared sleeping spaces are super luxurious and cultivate deeper sisterhood.
There will be plenty of time & space for you to have self-care, with plenty of rest breaks & space to roam on the land.

Hell yeah! The topic of rewilding is so relevant for women at any stage of their journey. We invite all the maidens, mothers, and crones!
We will do some womb-centered work, so if you are a woman who no longer has a physical womb, you will still receive and experience the energetics of the teachings.
We welcome you, however you identify, whatever age you are - we will meet in a place of none—judgment. We will gather to explore our nuanced paths, lineages & definitions of what it means to be ‘wild’ and to be a ‘woman’.

This is a full-permission space, which means - if being naked feels good for you in the wilds - you’re welcome. And if not, then do not. Wildness is not about overstepping your boundaries, it’s about finding your truth. We aim to invite all expressions of that truth and will create a safely-held, nonjudgemental space for either/or expression of ‘wild’.
So, no - it does not matter and that truth is so very much welcome with us.
