the intention for this edition of the lounge:
this is our very first event in London with both men & women together. so this is very special.
the venus lounge is an ancient/future matriarchal inspired temple culture;
a space devoted to the rising of the feminine.

for that reason, we will create a field where women can embody their Authority whilst men can lean in to a quality of Devotion. i trust you to find your own creative translation of this invitation; as we all have our own internal feminine & masculine within too…
how can you trust the authority of the feminine and let the masculine devote himself to her desires?

is your role usually to lead? if so; can you practice the gift of surrender in the space?
& vice versa.

Prayer is the quality that takes the venus lounge from just another gathering & in to the faculty of a true temple space- a liberating sanctuary where ancient stories can be resolved & modern poetry can be written as we let the body teach us.
the prayer for our time together is one of un-domestication. a re-wilding of what we’ve previously been told femininity is & masculinity is - or even what sexuality is.

May we create a space where shame can burn & desire can rise from it’s ashes.

a note to men:-
we’re so thrilled that you’ll be joining us. by stepping in to our space we trust that you are the kind of man who is aware of power & the ways we-as women- seem to naturally withhold our full expression when men are around. we ask that you step in to the space as a man who’s a yes to meeting all facets of the feminine - the wild, the ugly, the erotic & the real. this is a space devoted to women, lead by women which men can enter. we expect you to not only honour this but also celebrate this.

a note to couples:-
thankyou for choosing to trust us with your connection. just so that you’re aware; we will facilitate practices in groups of three or more, encouraging switching of partners, meeting as many people in the room as possible. if you intend to do all the practices exclusively with your partner, please operate in sovereignty by engineering this yourself as we will not adapt practices. elsewise, please do come & enjoy connecting with the whole group.

📌a reminder of the location: &SOUL sanctuary on cheshire street, in Shoreditch.

📌when you arrive at the reception desk for 2pm, check in with someone from the venue - who can respond to any practical questions you have
& then take all your belongings & shoes to the changing room.

make sure you arrive in plenty of time to get changed. the facilities has a beautiful changing room with warm showers, mirrors, hair-dryers & straighteners. you may rent a towel from the venue for the day if needed.

there are lockers in the changing room. please leave all your belongings in there. including your shoes. if the lockers are all taken, get changed in the changing room & leave your bag behind the front desk or with Alisa on the door. no footwear inside of the lounge; we recommend bringing socks to wear.

📌the only thing you need to bring into the room is a vessel for drinking water & a way of paying for drinks from the Elixir Bar in the evening segment.
& please feel free to bring any sensual tools you may wish to play with during the temple later on.

the program:-

2pm: arrivals.

2:15pm - doors close.

2:15-4:30pm facilitated ritual. *supported by ceremonial cocoa.

4:30-5:30pm: break

*grab some food in the cafe/ enjoy the sauna/ get changed in to your temple attire.
we recommend you bring your own snacks to eat during the break.
refreshments & light venus-ian bites are provided throughout the temple.

5:30-9pm: the temple.
*live music, an elixir bar, immersive performance & practitioners.

9-10pm:optional sauna.

*everything is optional and you’re welcome to leave whenever you like.

in any exercise proposed & in any moment during the ritual & the temple, you are deeply encouraged to only follow what feels like a full yes. if a no emerges, please take advantage of the space as if it’s your own. lie on the couch, be with yourself, etc. it’s your time to nourish you. we celebrate it when you choose to take care of yourself🫶

Please ask for support from anyone in the team-to be with you if anything emerges that deserves company. *you’ll meet Alisa & Em on the door, along with a whole collective of space-holders there to ensure your time is so exquisite.

During the temple
you will have the opportunity to simply enjoy the space, dance to the live music, grab a drink from the Elixir Bar, or explore one of our immersive experiences. choosing from any of the following:-
