Self-Sourcing Intimacy Tips for Lockdown Times

Quarantine self-dates & ways to feel touched when human touch just ain't around:

I am a human who N E E D S touch. Aren't we all?
However, I notice just how much touch, intimacy & connection are cornerstones of my daily life when they're no longer there.

Love is literally my currency, touch is my language that I speak with folks, and eros is my bread and butter.

And so, without that, I've been having to birth new ways of feeling *touched* & *loved* & *turned on* on my own.

Here are some self-dating strategies that I've found super useful in this time ::: most of them are pretty obvious, and some of them might seem ridiculous. But if they resonate with you, I'm glad ♥️.

Self-sourcing Intimacy recipe :-

+ get out of your pj's and put on something that makes you feel sexy - for me that is lingerie but for someone else it might be a onesie that feels super nice on.

+Put red lipstick on for no freaking reason other than, it feels fucking great to do so (this applies to all genders, I'm not a red lipstick person at all but this does wild things to my body when I allow myself to be glam-as-fuck)

+ drink warrrrrrrrm spicey milky drinks that allow your body to feel touched from the inside.

+ pick out some essential oils or body lotions
that smell really beautiful to you, let yourself enjoy the smell as you anoint your body with it.

+ take warrrrrrrrm baths : let your skin be shrouded in the nourishing sensation of water. *an extra witchy tip is to use some essential oils in the bath, to set an intention before immersing yourself in the bath - and remain in the bath as it drains, imagining your worries going down the drain with it all.

+go out into nature and stroke the heck out of some trees, plant beings and lay your belly down onto the grass, if you can. Let gravity and nature touch you.

+ S E L F MASSAGE ♥️

+ light a candle and single-point eye gaze with it until your body allows you to cry - this can take a long time if tears don't feel native to you,
But this allows you to be touched by yourself and your emotions.

+ befriend an animal.

+ cuddle your blankets and pillows.
